My name is Mike Landtroop and I am very excited to be the Yulee Woodshop teacher at Yulee High School.  

I have been a teacher for almost 20 years.  Subjects taught include Algebra I and II, Accounting I and II, SAT prep class, Computer classes - Microsoft Office Suite.  I have taught summer Woodshop programs at Baker County High School and Yulee High School. 

I have worked part-time and full-time in the Construction industry for the past 25 years.  Skills that I have learned from my experience in Construction include Framing, concrete work, tiling, painting, light electrical, and light plumbing.  During my summers, I work as a handyman.

I have a passion for the Construction trades.  I enjoy working with my hands and producing a valued product at the end of the day.  I believe in the Career Technical Educational classes.  The curriculum in the Building Construction Program can lead students into jobs right out of high school.  I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and passion with my students.
