Public Notice

The Nassau County School District’s Statutory Compliance Team will hold a public meeting onThursday, December 18, 2025, to review the following library titles and determine their continued availability in school libraries.

The Statutory Compliance Team will review up to 20 of the listed titles at the meeting, as time permits.

Parents/guardians and residents of Nassau County are invited to provide public comment on the appropriateness of the listed titles. Only the Statutory Compliance Team will speak during the meeting. Public input will be accepted exclusively through the online form, which may be accessed at the link below.

Public Comment Guidelines

This is a limited public forum dedicated solely to feedback on the identified books.

Comments may be submitted online until Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:45 P.M.

Comments must relate directly to the listed title(s), their content, and your opinion on their suitability for the intended student age group.

Personal attacks against the challenger, school district officials, or any individual are not permitted.

Comments that do not meet these standards will not be considered by the Statutory Compliance Team.
