There’s never a really good time. The decision is based on critical needs, and teachers are dealing with inflation just like everyone else. The district, like many industries, is facing staff shortages.  We are losing teachers for a variety of reasons, and we currently have __ teacher vacancies. We believe the needs of our students and teachers should be our first consideration.
