2018 School-Related Employee of the Year

Christie Frahm has served as Administrative Data Entry Operator at FBHS for the past six years. Her job description, which includes her responsibilities for input of all information into student database, knowledge of all fields reported to FLDOE so that information is processed correctly and funding is captured, assistance in developing the school’s master schedule, production of student schedules, and facilitation of grade reporting and state verification procedures with teachers, just doesn’t say it all! She also serves on the school’s Positive Behavior Intervention System leadership team and has participated in both Tier I and Tier II training. She has twice attended the annual FOCUS SIS conference in order to support the FBHS leadership team, maintains her CPR certification, meets with FDLRS and ESE department chair and administrators to develop scheduling strategies based on individualized student needs, and as part of the Crisis Management Team at FBHS, attends planning and training meetings as well as conducting practice drills.

But that is still not all! Most importantly, Christie, a graduate herself of FBHS, is invested in the students. She sponsors the Blue Crew, a school spirit organization, to develop an inclusive environment and her positive, caring attitude is a genuine contribution to the students’ academic and affective development.

Christie will now represent Nassau County as a nominee for the Florida School-Related Employee of the Year!
