Superintendent Dr. Kathy Burns announced the five finalists for this year’s Nassau County Teacher of the Year in surprise classroom visits before winter break

During the first cycle of the selection process, each school’s Teacher of the Year submitted a video of his/her teaching practice with an accompanying lesson plan, a resume, and written essays.  Each finalist will complete additional essay questions and be interviewed.  The winner will be announced at the district gala sponsored by the Nassau County Education Foundation on January 10^th at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island.
