The Nassau County School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen H. Johns as the District’s new School Safety Specialist.
Mr. Johns joins the District from the Fernandina Beach Police Department and brings extensive federal, local, and private-sector security experience, including leadership roles with the Drug Enforcement Administration and security management with Amazon.
In this role, he will oversee districtwide school safety and security efforts, coordinate required safety assessments, support emergency preparedness and threat management, and serve as the primary liaison between the school district and local public safety agencies.
The Nassau County School District looks forward to Stephen H. Johns supporting and strengthening safety efforts across the district.
