Twenty-four years ago, our nation was shaken by unimaginable loss, yet lifted by extraordinary courage. Today we honor the lives taken, the bravery of first responders, and the families whose grief has never faded. In tragedy’s shadow, we found unity, compassion, and resolve—proof that even in our darkest hours, the American spirit endures.
President Ronald Reagan once reminded us, “Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction. It must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation.” Those words call us to remember that liberty and unity are not inherited; they are sustained by vigilance, sacrifice, and hope. On this solemn anniversary, may we honor the memory of 9/11 not only in reflection, but in our daily commitment to preserve the freedom and strength that bind us together.
