Theme: “READ, WHITE and BLUE: Celebrating 250 Chapters of America.” Each weekday features a literacy activity: Monday—students read the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution and reflect on its relevance; Tuesday—read biographies of American changemakers and discuss their impact; Wednesday—select and read books on American history or culture, followed by peer sharing; Thursday—create posters celebrating historical figures or ideas; Friday—enjoy red, white, and blue treats while sharing favorite facts or stories from the week.

FBMS is proud to participate in Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida!. This is a statewide initiative that promotes literacy and fosters strong reading habits among students. In partnership with the Florida Education Foundation, FBMS will engage students in fun, meaningful, and interactive reading experiences that inspire a love of reading and lifelong learning throughout our school community.
