TALLAHASSEE, Fla., January 26, 2026 – Today, the Florida Department of Education and Volunteer Florida invited students to participate in the 2026 Black History Month student art and essay contests with the theme, “Celebrating Black History.” Black history Month is recognized and celebrated during the month of February.
