To ensure the safety of all students, the Nassau County School District requires an approved volunteer application for anyone wishing to chaperone field trips or volunteer at school events.

Hereās what to know:
Apply online using your full legal name and birthdate as it appears on your ID
Select the school(s) and volunteer functions you plan to help with
Once approved, youāll receive an email confirmation
Bring your government-issued ID the first time you volunteerāyour info must match your application
Volunteer approvals expire each year on June 30 and must be renewed annually

This historic achievement reflects the incredible dedication of our students, teachers, school leaders, support personnel, and families. It is the first time in district history we have achieved this ranking.
