📚✍️ Big dreams are taking shape at Yulee Primary School!

First-grade student author Amari recently hosted a special book signing for his book, Going Camping, inspiring fellow Little Hornets to use their creativity, imagination, and love of writing. Students lined up to meet Amari, have their books signed, and celebrate this exciting accomplishment alongside YPS staff and families.

We are so proud to celebrate students who are using their talents, creativity, and confidence to inspire others. Going Camping is available on Amazon and can also be checked out from the Yulee Primary School library.

Great things are happening in Nassau County schools, and our students continue to amaze us with their creativity and leadership!

🍯🐝 Students at Hilliard Middle-Senior High School had the opportunity to observe the honey harvesting process as part of their agricultural learning experience.
Students and staff observed hive inspections, wax de-capping, honey extraction, filtering, and bottling fresh honey while learning more about the process from hive to harvest. Experiences like these help connect classroom learning to agriculture, science, and career exploration.
Thank you to Mr. Wollitz for providing students and staff with this hands-on learning opportunity. 🍯🐝

The Callahan Elementary School (CES) 2nd Grade Safety Patrol enjoyed a series of meaningful learning experiences that brought civics and community safety to life.
Students traveled to Tallahassee to visit the Florida State Capitol and explore the Museum of Florida History, where they participated in an interactive scavenger hunt that encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and problem‑solving.
The experience continued with a visit to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, where students met the sheriff and learned how different departments work together to help keep our community safe.
