Hilliard Elementary School kindergarten students spent the week learning about the significance of Presidents Day and the role of the President of the United States. Students explored a virtual tour of the White House, practiced the steps of the voting process, and cast their own ballots. Some classes voted for their favorite book character, Duck or Farmer, while others voted for their preferred cookie. This engaging, hands-on experience helped students build an early understanding of citizenship and decision-making in a fun and meaningful way.
