There will be a SAT Prep Seminar at FBHS on March 9, 2026 during the school day, put on by Next Level Prep. Registration is in Guidance by March 3rd.

The 6 hour seminar helps demystify the digital SAT by explaining:
-the test’s structure
-the academic content covered on it
-testing & time management strategies students can employ to maximize their performance.

Each participant Receives:
-a guided outline of strategies to approach the SAT
-a comprehensive, 600-page, reference workbook
-a 5-week SAT study plan, &
-free, live, phone-in, pre-test tutoring

Hope Squad applications are now available in the guidance office. Completed applications and parent permission forms are due back to the guidance office this Friday, December 5 by 3:45pm.

JUNIORS & SENIORS- the prom tickets are being sold at a 25% discount for the month of December. Please come by room 11-04 during anchor hour only and purchase a ticket. You must have behavior contract completed with all signatures and the exact cash amount- $75.00. After the New Year, the ticket will go back up to the original price of $100.00. The price of the ticket includes all you can eat appetizers, desserts, 3 different mocktails, dj, 360 selfie booth, another selfie booth with printed pictures and the formal picture package. We hope to see you under the Tuscan moon!

We will be traveling to AMSTERDAM, BRUSSELS, PARIS & LONDON for the spring break of 2027. Come journey through the Amsterdam canals with us, visit Anne Frank's house , explore the historic streets of Brussels- "Europe's capital" while enjoying culinary delicacies of waffles and chocolate, see the Eiffel Tower twinkle at night while on the Seine river cruise, take a selfie with Mona Lisa at the Louvre and explore London with a wanderlust mindset! This trip is over half full. Lock in the current price with a $50.00 deposit and then work out the payments with the company! The Aerospace Club will meet on Wednesday at 3:00 in the building 4 kitchen. We will have a demonstration by the Fernandina Police Department drone unit. Everyone is welcome to attend.

FBHS will be hosting an in-school CLT exam on Thurs, February 19th. This is an alternative college entrance exam and can also be used as a concordant score. Any Juniors and Seniors who want to sign up for the CLT at FBHS for Spring 2026 need to sign up in Guidance before December 15th with a permission slip.
