We are proud to announce that FBMS students Nahomi and Madison are winners of the RYAM Essay Contest titled “Why Manufacturing Matters to Our Community.”
Madison earned a $200 prize, while Nahomi earned a $50 prize! Their thoughtful essays highlighted the importance of manufacturing in supporting jobs, innovation, and growth in our community.

FBMS celebrated the courage, sacrifice and service of our veterans with a display of patriotism as the annual Veterans Day Car Parade came through the FBHS and FBMS bus loop. Students help up signs, flags and cheered as our local veterans honked and waved.
NCSD observes Holocaust Education Week to honor the memory of the millions of Jews and countless others persecuted during the Holocaust. Through meaningful lessons and reflection, our schools promote tolerance, empathy, and understanding.

Our 7th grade ELA detectives are on the case! Before diving into Edgar Allan Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart, students stepped into a chilling crime scene to gather clues, analyze evidence, and build theories. This immersive pre-reading activity sets the stage for deep literary exploration and critical thinking.
