A special thank you to Lee Southwick from First Coast News for taking the time to visit our students and share her knowledge about weather and forecasting.
This special learning experience helped students make meaningful connections to what they have been studying during their weather unit. From learning about storms to understanding how meteorologists track and predict weather, students asked thoughtful questions and enjoyed hearing from a real weather expert.
Experiences like this help bring classroom learning to life and make learning even more memorable! ☀️⛈️💨

We were thrilled to welcome authors Bethany Gano and Eugenia Chu, who spent time with our 2nd through 5th grade students sharing their stories, creativity, and love of reading. Opportunities like this allow our students to see the magic behind books and hear firsthand what it’s like to be an author.
A big shoutout to Mrs. Bozeman, our amazing librarian, for organizing this wonderful event and making it such a memorable experience for our Trailblazers. Your hard work helped create a day filled with inspiration, imagination, and a deeper love for reading.
Thank you again to the Amelia Island Book Festival and our visiting authors for helping make this special experience possible for our students! 📖💙

We are grateful for the mileage in giving us the chance to introduce and explore pottery at our elementary schools!

Students put their learning into action as they explored how energy flows, tested connections, troubleshot designs, and celebrated those “aha” moments when their circuits successfully lit up. The teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance on display were truly impressive.
We love seeing our young scientists and future engineers shine. Take a look at the photos to see their bright ideas in action.
