🏅💚💛 CELEBRATING CARLI! 💛💚🏅
We’re taking a moment to celebrate one of our own! First-year athlete Carli represented Nassau County at the Special Olympics State Games in Ocala, where she earned 2nd place in the 25-meter swim! 🥈🏊♀️
One of the most inspiring moments was watching Carli complete the final strokes of her race as an independent swimmer and make it all the way to the finish line. Her determination, perseverance, and heart are truly something to celebrate! 💚💛
We couldn’t be prouder of you, Carli! Congratulations on an incredible accomplishment and for representing Yulee High School and Nassau County with such pride! 🏅💚💛

Science is coming to life at YHS!
There are some pretty incredible things happening in our science classrooms! From examining muscle tissue under microscopes to testing metals with Bunsen burners and dissecting flowers, our students are getting hands-on experiences that bring learning to life!
These are the moments when students get to move beyond the textbook, ask questions, make discoveries, and see science in action.
A huge shoutout to our amazing science teachers for creating engaging, meaningful learning opportunities that challenge our students to think, explore, and discover!
Great things are happening at Yulee High School!!💚💛
🐝💚 Students Leading the Way at Yulee High School! 💛🐝
What happens when students become the experts? Everyone learns!
Two of our amazing AVID students recently had the opportunity to present to the Yulee High School faculty and staff, sharing how AVID strategies—especially organization—have helped them find success in high school.
Our students shared the real-life impact of staying organized, keeping track of assignments, managing their time, and having systems in place to stay on top of their responsibilities. They reminded our staff that organization isn't just an AVID strategy—it's a skill that can make a difference in a student's confidence, independence, and success.
We are incredibly proud of these students for stepping outside of their comfort zones, sharing their experiences, and teaching our faculty and staff from a student perspective.

🐝💚 Hornets Serving Their Community! 💛🐝
The students in Yulee High School’s NNDCC program are showing us what it means to lead through service!
Our NNDCC cadets have been making a difference throughout our community by giving their time, energy, and compassion. From serving food at Gracie’s Kitchen to walking dogs to participating in a beach cleanup, our cadets keep stepping up and serving wherever they are needed.
These experiences are about more than completing service hours—they are opportunities for our students to develop leadership, responsibility, teamwork, compassion, and a strong sense of community.
We are incredibly proud of the way our NNDCC cadets represent Yulee High School both on and off campus. Their commitment to serving others is making a difference, one act of service at a time. 💚💛

🐝💚 Hornets Making a Difference in Our Community! 💛🐝
At Yulee High School, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom—and our TAP Program is a wonderful example of that!
Our TAP students have been busy getting out into the community and putting their skills to work. From helping unload pumpkins at a local farm to bagging plants and preparing them for customers, our students are showing up, working hard, and making a difference! 🌱🎃
These experiences provide our students with opportunities to build confidence, practice valuable job skills, work as a team, and experience the pride that comes from contributing to their community.
We are so proud of the hard work, positive attitudes, and willingness to serve demonstrated by our TAP students. 💚
