Mr. Conner’s Anatomy & Physiology students kicked off their learning with a fun, hands-on tabletop chalk marker activity!
Students worked together to illustrate their prior knowledge of the organs within their assigned body system. Using chalk markers, they mapped out and labeled what they already knew—giving them a chance to collaborate, share ideas, and put their existing knowledge to work.
What a great way to turn a classroom table into a canvas for learning! ✏️🧠💡
We’re excited to see how much these students’ understanding grows as they dive deeper into the amazing systems of the human body! 🫀🫁🧬

Mrs. Russell’s 8th grade Science students are taking their learning to new heights with a hands-on paper airplane investigation!
Students are learning how scientists ask questions, make predictions, identify variables, collect data, conduct fair tests, and use evidence to draw conclusions. Through experimenting with different airplane sizes, shapes, and wing designs, they are discovering how these factors can affect flight distance—all while developing problem-solving, critical-thinking, collaboration, and data-analysis skills.
And we have a NEW RECORD! 🏆✈️
Sebastian’s paper airplane previously traveled an impressive 62 feet… but the next day, he broke his own record with an incredible 73 feet! 🎉👏
Way to go, Sebastian! We love seeing our students put the scientific process into action and challenge themselves to go even farther! 🔬📊✈️

We were so excited to see such a great turnout of former players, coaches, friends, and Flashes supporters coming together to reconnect, share memories, enjoy a great meal, and celebrate the tradition that makes Hilliard Football so special.

Our 7th graders jumped right into group participation and teamwork, racing to see which team could find as many numbers in order up to 100 as possible in just 2 minutes! ⏱️🔢 After identifying a pattern, they earned a second chance to race against the clock!
What a fun way to kick off the school year while building collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills! 👏🏼
