🚨 Save Fred Challenge! 🚨

Our 3rd grade students put their problem-solving and teamwork skills to the test during the Save Fred STEM challenge!

Poor Fred the gummy worm had a problem... his boat capsized, and his life preserver ended up underneath the boat! 🛟🐛

Using only 4 paper clips (and absolutely NO touching the gummy worm, cup, or life preserver with their hands), students worked together to rescue Fred by carefully moving the life preserver onto him and placing it on top of the overturned cup.

This activity challenged students to think critically, communicate, persevere, and practice engineering skills. We were so proud of their creativity, teamwork, and determination as they worked to save Fred! 👏💡

Starting Monday, August 17th, all students will be walking to class themselves. We will have staff members helping direct students to class in the morning as needed. Please note that students may not be dropped off at the front office. Car line gates open for students to enter at 7:20am.
