Our Building Construction students are putting their skills into action—using a scroll saw for precision cutting while learning safety and craftsmanship that go into the construction trade.
At YHS, learning doesn’t always happen behind a desk. These Hornets are gaining real-world experience with real-world tools and building skills they can take well beyond the classroom.

Three talented Yulee High School students — Sarah, Kayden, and Keeley — are bringing a very special mural to life! Their artwork will soon become part of the Yulee High School exterior, creating a lasting piece of art that celebrates the many things that make our school community unique.
The mural was thoughtfully designed to represent the many faces of Yulee High School, incorporating Hornet athletics, CTE, cheer, art, NJROTC, and so much more. Each element tells a story about the students, programs, passions, and opportunities that make YHS what it is.
✨ This project is proudly funded through the community-supported millage, providing our students with opportunities to create, collaborate, and leave their mark on the place they call home each day.
During Arts in Education Week, we’re proud to celebrate not only the artwork itself, but the student creativity, collaboration, and talent behind it. 🎨

🎭 Celebrating Arts in Education Week: Theatre at Yulee High School 🎭
The arts are an important part of a well-rounded education, giving students opportunities to create, communicate, collaborate, express themselves, and discover their unique voices.
This Arts in Education Week, we’re celebrating the students and educators who bring the arts to life at Yulee High School. Our theatre program is one of the many places where students have the opportunity to grow both on and off the stage.
Through theatre, students develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills—all while learning the power of storytelling and self-expression. 🎬✨
These photos offer a glimpse into our theatre program, from students preparing for this year’s production to memories from last year’s performance. The costumes featured in last year’s production were purchased with support from the millage.
As this year’s production begins to take shape, we’re excited to celebrate the creativity and dedication that make our arts programs such an important part of the Yulee High School experience.
