Yulee High School’s Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) members recently completed their second official observation experience at Yulee Primary School. Students observed Kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms in action, including Buzz Groups, math small groups, reading instruction, and engaging phonics lessons designed to keep young learners actively involved.

They did more than observe. FFEA members stepped in to assist during math instruction, supporting students and gaining real classroom experience.

The visit concluded with a Q&A panel featuring four dedicated primary teachers. Students shared that their biggest takeaway was the authentic passion these educators demonstrate daily and the intentional relationships they build with their students.

Experiences like this reinforce that great teaching extends beyond the lesson plan. It is built on connection, care, and impact.
