Hello Southside Families! My name is Monica Weber and I am the proud principal of our Little Pirates!

I am originally from Miami, Florida and have worked in education for 13 years. I earned my bachelor’s and Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Florida and began my career as a Title 1 Elementary Interventionist for reading and math. I have taught 5^th and 1^st grade in Alachua and Brevard County Schools. During my time as an interventionist, I returned to school and received my doctorate in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Most recently, for the last five years, I have served as the Assistant Principal at an Elementary school in Duval County. I am truly excited to be joining the Nassau team and the Southside family! 

I look forward to working alongside our faculty, staff, parents, and community partners to create the best learning environment and academic experience for our Little Pirates!
