Fifth Grade

  • Fifth grade is a challenging, but exciting year. It is a year to get ready for big changes, to grow and become more independent, to set in stone a foundation that will lead to a successful future. To be successful, students need to understand that parents, teachers, and they, themselves, are responsible for certain tasks. Students have to try their best, focus during instruction, and complete their work. Teachers will provide numerous opportunities to learn materials utilizing a variety of teaching methods. Parents play a vital role. Each student will receive a weekly newsletter that contains current homework, learning objectives, and upcoming daily events. Please support your student on this new adventure. We also use Remind and daily conduct sheets. Parents should address any issues as soon as they arise. Communication is the key!
