" Left...Left...Left Right Left" A rhythm drummed into all marching band members. Just after school lets out, in the sweltering heat of summer, band camp starts. During this time, students are given all the skills vital to the success of a marching band; formations, songs, staying in step and more. To the few that survive the sun, heat and continuous marching the rewards are many and the skills are sharp. All this must be completed before the first show is even put on. Band students are tougher than people give them credit for.
