Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Tracy Miller

I am Tracy Miller and I am so happy to have joined the HES family this school year! After graduating from the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s degree in special education, I started in Nassau County in 1994 as a teacher of PreK students with special needs. When my husband and I had twins, I did stay home for a few years, returning to the PreK ESE classroom in 2002. Between 2002 and 2019, I had the opportunity to teach kindergarten through second grade students with special needs in a variety of settings. I earned my National Board Certification in Special Needs and my ESOL Endorsement during this time as well. I then became a reading coach in Nassau County, earning my Reading Endorsement, finding my passion for coaching teachers, and graduating with a master’s degree in education. I served as the Assistant Principal at Yulee Primary for the last three years and have now transferred to HES as Assistant Principal. I greatly believe that “everything is figureoutable!” (No, that is not really a word, but I use it anyway!) Please do not hesitate to call me with your questions, concerns, and ideas, because, whatever it is, it is figureoutable! Go Flashes!
